Golden Circle Tropical Recipe Book 6
Mum also used to make the top one, jellied pineapple slices.

The recipe:
15oz (metric equivalent) can GOLDEN CIRCLE Pineapple Slices
1 pkt lime-flavoured jelly crystals
boiling water

Drain syryup from pineapple and measure into saucepan. Add sufficient boiling water to make 1.5 cups liquid. Bring to boiling point, remove from stove and stir in jelly crystals until dissolved. Cool. Return pineapple slices to can pour cooled jelly into can around slices. Chill until firm. Run hot knife around sides of can and unmould onto serving plate. Serve sliced, with cream or ice cream. NOTE: if you set slices in the 30 oz Pineapple Juice can you will need two 15 oz cans of pineapple and two packets of jelly crystals. The Russian-born Louis Lozowick was one of many modern artists drawn to the exciting light show of Coney Island's Luna Park, known as the Electric Eden. He combined cropped and abstracted elements of this leisure mecca's most famous attractions, including the Ferris wheel, the steeplechase ridge, and exotic illuminated minarets.

From the pen of Bob Dylan, circa 1963, these are the poet-singer's handwritten working lyrics to "A Hard Rain's A-Gonna Fall". Written here are the first three stanzas of the song, with cross-outs & lines signifying repeated words. Dylan wrote these lyrics on 8.5" x 6" stationery. Although the paper bears two significant tears in two places, has a long crease and is stained, the handwritten lyrics, in black ink, are in excellent condition - strong and fully legible. This is an incredible rock & roll artifact showing the working of Dylan's mind as he worked out the lyrics to this classic song. Comes with a signed & dated letter from forensic document examiner James A. Blanco. Estimate: $30,000 - $40,000.

Shrimpenstein was on KHJ channel 9 in LA from 1966 to 1968. This is the opening theme sung by Dr. Von Schtick (Gene Moss in a bad Boris Karloff imitation and the Tijuana Bats.
The hosts were Gene Moss (Dr. Von Schtick) & Jim Thurman (voices). Shrimpenstein was a miniature Frankenstein monster (a ventriloquist dummy who was “created” when jellybeans were thrown into the Monster Machine) Moss & Thurman wrote the Roger Ramjet cartoons & did advertising campaigns, mostly for radio. Moss later did voice-overs for LA’s channel 2 news and Disney/Touchstone pictures previews. Thurman also wrote & did voices for Sesame Street.

A Bronze Age paddle was discovered on a fossil hunt at Wildwood Trust, Herne Bay.
There are thought to have been only six other paddles of its type found in the UK.
Anne Riddell, head of education at Wildwood, and one of the people that helped with the excavation of the paddle, said: "To find something like this is fantastic and really exciting."
The Bronze Age discovery was spotted on an annual Fossil Hunt on June 21. Around 50 people gathered for the hunt to walk from Swalecliffe to Longcrock.
The paddle was noticed by one of the group when they saw a piece of wood sticking out of the mud.
Members of the Regionally Important Geological and Geomorphological Sites (RIGS), who were also on the hunt, confirmed the find by analysing the Bronze Age sediment it was found in.
In Britain, the Bronze Age is considered to have been the period from around 2700 to 700 BC.
